Pakistan July 2026: Suzuki Swift up to #2 YTD in market soaring 79.6%
The previous generation Suzuki Swift is still on sale in Pakistan.
According to local manufacturers association PAMA, sales of new locally made cars in Pakistan surge 79.6% year-on-year in July to 19,818 units. This brings the year-to-date volume up 40.2% to 137,941. Note Changan and Kia do not share sales figures with PAMA but are reported to be quite successful here. Market leader Suzuki (+175%) shoots up to 51.1% share vs. 48.5% year-to-date, it is followed by Toyota (+52.5%) at 25.7% and Honda (+76%) at 13.3%. JAC is up 139.6% to #6. Model-wise, the Suzuki Alto (+210.1%) is up to 36.4% share, its highest in over one year: since June 2025. The Suzuki Swift (+286.6%) is up almost 4-fold YoY to #2, a ranking it now also holds year-to-date.
