Luxembourg July 2026: BMW #1 again, Peugeot, Renault, Kia stand out

Peugeot sales are up 73.2% year-on-year in July.

New car sales in Luxembourg edge down -3.9% year-on-year in July to 4,337 units. However thanks to a strong H1 the year-to-date tally remains in positive at +3.6% to 30,849. BMW (-13.9%) threepeats at #1 with 11.9% share and despite a harsh YoY fall. It distances Volkswagen (-17.6%) far away at 10.2% of the market vs. 12.3% year-to-date where it still leads for now. Mercedes (+1.2%) and Audi (+13.4%) both defy the negative market and round out the Top 5. The biggest gains are below: Peugeot is up 73.2%, Kia up 53.7% and Renault up 20.2%. Further down, notice Fiat (+48%), BYD (+272.7%) and Lamborghini (+100%).
