FILADELFIA (AP) — Joel Embiid se perderá al menos tres partidos debido a una distensión en el oblicuo derecho, informaron el sábado los 76ers de Filadelfia.
Embiid se lesionó durante la victoria de los 76ers elj ueves por 124-117 sobre el Heat de Miami, y el sábado los Sixers indicaron que una resonancia magnética reveló la lesión.
Embiid no jugará el domingo en Boston, y será evaluado nuevamente después de que los 76ers disputen partidos consecutivos en casa el martes y el miércoles.
El pívot estrella anotó 26 puntos y capturó 11 rebotes el jueves, promedió 29 puntos en febrero, la cifra más alta de la Conferencia Este.
