McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition Turns a Title Run Into a 10 Car Trophy

McLaren is turning a major Formula 1 moment into something you can actually park in a garage, at least if you are one of the ten people who get the call. The new Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition is a celebration of McLaren Racing’s 10th Constructors’ Championship, and it’s being positioned as more than just a special paint job. McLaren says it’s also a tailored ownership experience meant to pull buyers closer to the team’s legacy and the brand’s current high.

The story behind it is rooted in the 2025 season, with the road car’s design paying tribute to the championship-winning MCL39 racer. Curated by McLaren Special Operations, the car wears a hand-painted livery blending MSO Bespoke Myan Orange with Onyx Black, with subtle commemorative elements that go far beyond a simple badge. One of the coolest touches is the “10” motif, which includes ten stars and outlines representing each McLaren Formula 1 car that helped earn a Constructors’ title.

On the outside, McLaren leans into stealthy contrast to let the livery do the talking. The Championship Edition gets the Black Pack, a Stealth Badge Pack, and 10-spoke Super-Lightweight Dynamo forged wheels finished in Gloss Black. Brake calipers are painted in Myan Orange with black McLaren logos, and the look is capped off with a Sports Exhaust and Stealth Exhaust Finisher to keep the vibe properly sinister when you drop the top.

Inside, it’s a mix of performance-focused materials with just enough visual pop to remind you this is a celebration car. There’s unique “10” headrest embroidery in McLaren Orange, a Myan Orange painted 12 o’clock steering wheel marker with a matching “10” detail, and a custom plaque on the center console marking the car’s exclusive specification. The cabin is trimmed in Performance Carbon Black Alcantara and Jet Black Nappa leather, with McLaren Vision Orange piping to tie the theme together.

McLaren also built in the kind of details collectors live for. The extended satin carbon fiber sill finishers are hand-signed by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and every car comes with a custom track record plaque in the luggage compartment listing the wins, poles, and fastest laps from the 2025 season. Buyers also receive a 2025 Constructors’ Championship collectors’ keepsake, making it clear this is meant to feel like a milestone artifact. It’s a fitting victory lap for the Artura and Artura Spider too, with McLaren pointing to the model’s recent industry accolades as proof that its hybrid supercar era is hitting its stride.
