Avión privado con 8 personas se estrella al despegar en Maine, dice la FAA
BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Un avión privado que transportaba a ocho personas se estrelló el domingo al despegar en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Bangor, en Maine, informó la Administración Federal de Aviación de Estados Unidos.
El Bombardier Challenger 600 se estrelló aproximadamente a las 7:45 de la tarde. Por el momento no había información sobre el estado de salud de los ocupantes. La FAA (siglas en inglés de la administración de aviación) y la Junta Nacional de Seguridad en el Transporte investigan.
El choque ocurrió mientras Nueva Inglaterra y gran parte de Estados Unidos lidian con una tormenta invernal masiva. Bangor había experimentado una nevada constante, al igual que muchas otras partes del país.
En un comunicado, el aeropuerto indicó que había sido cerrado y que los socorristas ya se encontraban en el lugar del choque.
