Patriots-Texans injury report: Christian Gonzalez cleared, Nico Collins out for Sunday
Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez has been cleared for Sunday’s divisional-round game against the Texans.
Gonzalez entered concussion protocol during last weekend’s game versus the Chargers, but progressed quickly during the week. Outside linebacker Harold Landry (knee) and running back Terrell Jennings (concussion) are the only players listed on the Patriots’ injury report. Landry did not practice Friday, after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. Jennings could be activated off injured reserve and into the open spot on the team’s active roster if the team chooses.
If not, the Pats could opt to activate cornerback Alex Austin (wrist) instead. After missing three games, defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga (foot) has been cleared to play.
In Houston, star receiver Nico Collins has been ruled out with a concussion.
Both teams’ complete injury reports are below.
