Partido del Ajax suspendido por fuegos artificiales y bengalas
AMSTERDAM (AP) — Ajax se ha disculpado después de que su partido de la liga holandesa contra Groningen fuera detenido y posteriormente abandonado porque los aficionados encendieron fuegos artificiales y bengalas detrás de una de las porterías.
“Ajax considera que lo ocurrido en el estadio esta noche es absolutamente indignante”, afirmó el club en un comunicado.
Ajax informó que el partido de la Eredivisie se jugará ahora el martes sin aficionados.
El árbitro Bas Nijhuis sacó a los jugadores del campo en la Johan Cruyff Arena de Ajax dentro de los primeros cinco minutos del inicio. Un intento posterior de reanudar el juego también fracasó rápidamente después de más fuegos artificiales. El partido fue oficialmente abandonado con un marcador de 0-0.
“La seguridad de los espectadores y jugadores ha sido puesta en riesgo”, expresó Ajax.
