Rookie outside linebacker Elijah Ponder was the only other non-participant during stretching and initial positional drills.
Woodson has started all seven games this season, recording 34 tackles, one pass deflection and a fumble recovery. He was not listed on the Pats’ injury report before last Sunday’s at Tennessee. Woodson’s absence left Jaylinn Hawkins, Kyle Dugger and second-year backup Dell Pettus to take most of the reps at safety Wednesday.
The Patriots will release their first injury report of the week Wednesday evening.
