Picture perfect on the Charles
More than 12,000 athletes skimmed the surface of the Charles River this weekend during the Head of the Charles Regatta, which marked 60 years with this year’s competition.
Scullers were able to close out the event Sunday with picture perfect weather and conditions.
The Head of the Charles is now the largest 3-day rowing event in the world, according to organizers and features athletes from around the Unites States and the world competing in 74 race events.
