Patriots still missing veteran starting defender at Thursday’s practice
FOXBORO — Patriots outside linebacker Harold Landry III played through what looked like a scary injury in Sunday’s win over the Saints, but he missed the early portion of his second consecutive practice of the week Thursday.
Landry, a defensive starter, didn’t participate in Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury. He took a shot to his knee against the Saints.

Cornerback Charles Woods (knee) also wasn’t spotted Thursday at the beginning of practice. Woods has served as a backup this season since being claimed off waivers from the Rams.
Outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings (ankle) and safety Jaylinn Hawkins (hamstring) were back on the field after being non-participants on Wednesday. Both players also missed Sunday’s win over the Saints.
It would be a boost to get Hawkins back in the starting defense Sunday against the Titans. Jennings also could be needed if Landry can’t suit up.
