Henry left last weekend’s loss to Kansas City with a knee injury. The reason for Peppers’ absence is unknown. Backup left tackle Conor McDermott (head) and Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) were also missing Wednesday.

McDermott also got hurt against the Chiefs, while Stevenson has been out since suffering a high ankle sprain versus the Chargers on Dec. 3. It’s unclear whether Stevenson will be able to return this season. On Wednesday morning, Pats coach Bill Belichick answered a question about Stevenson’s availability by saying: “Take it day by day.”

The Patriots will release their first injury report of the week late Wednesday afternoon.
