Vikings offensive coordinator Wes Phillips arrested on suspicion of DWI
Vikings offensive coordinator Wes Phillips was arrested on Friday night and charged with misdemeanor operation of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
The arrest took place in Eden Prairie, and Phillips, 44, was booked at 11 p.m., according to Hennepin County Jail records. He was released at 1:26 a.m. after posting a $300 bond.

Asked for comment on the situation, the Vikings released the following statement, which confirmed that Phillips will travel with the team to Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon ahead of the game against the Raiders on Sunday afternoon at Allegiant Stadium.
“Wes immediately notified the team following his arrest last night. This morning we contacted the NFL, and after internal discussion, made the decision Wes will travel with the team to Las Vegas this afternoon. We will continue to gather information regarding the incident and have further comment at the appropriate time.”
