Bugatti has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport ’57 One of One,’ a bespoke creation paying homage to the iconic Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic. This exclusive one-off edition, crafted by Bugatti’s Sur Mesure department, draws inspiration from the rarity and allure of the original Type 57 SC Atlantic, of which only four were ever produced, with three surviving to this day, making it among the rarest automobiles in existence.

The Chiron Super Sport ’57 One of One’ is based on the Chiron Super Sport, incorporating several unique design elements that showcase its lineage. Notably, the retro grille steals the spotlight with polished vertical lines and a thicker center spine, exuding a vintage charm that harmoniously complements the car’s modern aesthetic.

Bugatti’s attention to detail extends to the exterior, featuring polished chrome and blue-finished wheels, a hand-drawn silhouette of the Atlantic beneath the rear wing, and a meticulous recreation of the original Atlantic’s shimmering paint. The homage continues within the vehicle, where Gaucho leather adorns the interior, with Rembrandt’s iconic ‘Dancing Elephant’ embroidered on the headrests and the Atlantic’s silhouette on the door cards. Lightning Blue hand-stitched accents provide a striking contrast, while the signatures of Rembrandt and Jean Bugatti grace the door sills.

Initiated by an unnamed customer, this bespoke creation was a surprise gift for her 70th birthday, stemming from a profound connection with the Type 57 SC Atlantic since her first encounter with it 20 years prior at the Mullin Automotive Museum. Her husband, catalyzing the process, presented her with an invitation from Bugatti to configure the Chiron Super Sport, kickstarting a year-long journey of transforming ideas into reality.
