
What’s open and closed on Presidents Day in the Twin Cities?
Monday, Feb. 17, is Presidents Day, a federal holiday on the third Monday in February that observes George Washington’s birthday and also celebrates other past presidents.
Most federal, state, county and city offices will be closed, along with schools, courts and public libraries.
Post offices will be closed and there will be no mail delivery. Banks and credit unions also will be closed.
Parking meters will not be enforced in St. Paul or Minneapolis. Metro Transit buses and trains will run on regular schedules.
Most retailers, businesses, grocery stores and malls will be open, but check for any changes to their hours.
