Madonna teases new music as potential sequel to ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’
Madonna has given fans an early Valentine’s Day treat.
The 66-year-old pop superstar announced Thursday that new music is underway with collaborator Stuart Price — the same producer behind her beloved “Confessions on a Dance Floor” opus from 20 years ago.
“My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!!” she captioned a series of snaps on Instagram.
She also once again teased that the project is a “Confessions Part 2,” a sequel to the 2005 Grammy-winning album that spawned international hits like “Hung Up” and “Sorry.”
Madonna first revealed her reunion with Price late last year.
“Working on new music with Stuart Price. These past few months has been medicine for my SOUL,” she wrote on Instagram Dec. 16. “I’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025!”
No release date for the new project was given.
Madonna’s last full-length album, “Madame X,” reached No. 1 in the United States following its release in 2019.
