Alzheimer’s and dementia support group: This support group for family members and caregivers is held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.

‘Fall Fitness Fest’: Enjoy this two-day fitness program with the Plymouth Creek Center and Senior Community Services. Tuesday events include breakfast, Nordic walking, croquet, tennis and bocce ball. Wednesday, Sept. 14, activities include 2, 3, 4-mile walks, bean bag toss, ladder golf (closest to pin) and lunch. $10.

‘Take Out Your Slates’: Take a trip down memory lane with Martha Norris of Full Bloom as she presents a history of education in America. A box lunch will follow the program. This event takes place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. $8; $4 for retired teachers.

Beginning Sept. 13

‘Fall Fitness Fest’: This two-day event promoting fitness for people age 55 and older will include a light breakfast, walking, Nordic walking, tennis tournament, bocce ball games, croquet, bean bag toss, golf (closest to pin), lasso golf and an awards luncheon through Wednesday, Sept. 14, times vary. $10.

‘Flamingo Court’: This three-act comedy follows the nosy and endearing residents of Flamingo Court, a South Florida apartment complex. Following the play enjoy lunch at Pittsburgh Blue. The bus departs at 10:30 a.m. $10.

Saturday, Sept. 17

‘Hairspray’: It’s 1962, and Baltimore teen Tracy Turnblad has only one desire – to dance on the popular “Corny Collins Show.” When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star, but she must use her newfound power and the help of a crazy cast of characters, to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin and integrate a TV network, all without denting her ‘do.
