In good times or bad, successful companies stay that way by continuing to evolve to meet their customers’ needs.

Four-year-old 1st Class Towing moved to new quarters last month and will be bringing new services that Gordy Evenson believes will better serve his clientele.

“Our old location was adequate, but not for what we wanted to do,” he said last week. “We’ve taken on more business and needed a bigger area, a shop and an impound lot. We believe when things are tough you need to do more. People need more services.”

His larger, fenced impound lot for car storage exists at 16469 State Highway 7 E. It has 2,200 square feet of shop space, and a 1,200-square-foot office and reception area.

“We can now store our trucks and some vehicles inside, if needed,” Evenson said.

In the past year, 1st Class Towing has added AAA towing service and a second truck and driver. He wants to eventually add vehicle sales and consignment sales of vehicles. as well as renting vehicles.
