Hutchinson School Board salaries stay the same
At their reorganization meeting Monday evening, Hutchinson School Board members again showed no interest in increasing their salary.
The topic is set to be discussed each January, but with little discussion the School Board decided to keep salaries set at $3,500, as it has been since 2006. The School Board salary was $3,000 before that time for at least six years.
Mileage reimbursement was set at the Internal Revenue Service rate, which was increased to 58 cents per business mile this year, up from 54.5 cents.
The School Board does not receive per diem pay.
