Amelia Peach of Zimmerman, Minn., has been sashed the 2025 Klondike Kate
Amelia Peach of Zimmerman, Minn., was sashed as the 2025 Klondike Kate during the annual singing contest at Inwood Oaks Event Center in Oakdale on Wednesday.
The contest, started in 1971, celebrates the spirit of dance hall girls of the Gold Rush, and Kate is the carnival’s “mistress of fun, frivolity and good fellowship.”
The 2025 Winter Carnival runs from Jan. 23 through Feb. 1. For more information, go to wintercarnival.com.
