A few weeks ago, we featured Diesel, a dog who has been living at a shelter for more than two years as he waits to be adopted.
Molly Guthrey wrote about Diesel (with photos by John Autey) as part of a report on Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s “giving holiday” for nonprofits and schools.
Diesel lives at Animal Ark’s shelter in Hastings, and they say he’s a great dog and it’s unclear why he’s been waiting so long.
While the good news is that the nonprofit raised about $70,000 for their annual expenses, including medical care for the animals, Diesel is still waiting for a family.
Read more about Diesel in this profile on Animal Ark’s page.
