New Brighton elections: Frischman and Steffenhagen win city council race

Jeanne Vint Frischman and Jason Steffenhagen won seats on the city council of New Brighton in the Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, election with 8 out of 8 precincts reporting.

Steffenhagen received 35% of the vote while Frischman received 34%.

Steffenhagen prioritizes fiscal responsibility and transparency, supporting public safety and creating housing metrics for sustainable growth, according to answers to a Pioneer Press candidate questionnaire.

Frischman hopes to support short and long term local housing challenges, grow the business community and partner with schools, public safety and community organizations.
