Lakeville elections: Wolter and Bermel win city council race
Dan Wolter and Dan Bermel won seats on the Lakeville city council with 18 out of 18 precincts reporting.
Wolter received 41% of the vote while Bermel received 35% and Boxrud received 22% of the vote.
Bermel and Wolter are both incumbent council members and both want to put more focus on public safety through adequate funding and training of existing public safety resources, expand the city’s police and fire department, maintain a low tax rate and continue to promote the city’s growth, they told the Pioneer Press.
