Severino sets RBI record but Saints fall to Columbus Clippers
Yunior Severino has set the Saints franchise record for the most single-season RBI at 76, sending a double down the third base line in the first inning Friday against the Columbus Clippers.
The Saints couldn’t do any more than that, though, and the Clippers steadily built an 11-1 lead by the end of the sixth inning that held for the night.
Starter Aaron Rozek (1-6) allowed nine hits and six runs during his five innings. He had four strikeouts.
The Saints play the Clippers again Saturday night at 6:05 p.m. in Columbus.
