Morocco August 2024: Market up 8.3%

Dacia holds 23.3% of the Moroccan Market in August.

The Moroccan new car market soars 8.3% year-on-year in August to 12,047 sales. This includes 10,415 Passenger Cars (+7.7%) and 1,632 Light Commercial Vehicles. The PC year-to-date volume is now up 1.2% to 97,164. Brand leader Dacia beats the market at +14.9% but its share remains below its year-to-date level at 23.3% vs. 25.7%. Renault (+7.4% easily keeps the second spot with 15.5% of the market. Peugeot (+15.7%) is up one spot on July to #3, overtaking Hyundai (-4%). Volkswagen (+3.7%) rounds out the Top 5 ahead of a strong Citroen (+12.1%) and a freefalling Opel (-31.7%). BMW (+45.8%), surging again, Fiat (+14.5%) and Audi (+10.1%) close the Top 10 in fantastic fashion.
