Red Sox lineups: Tyler O’Neill back after missing two games with finger inflammation

Red Sox outfielder Tyler O’Neill is back in the lineup after missing the last two games with left fourth finger inflammation.

O’Neill suffered the injury on Friday during batting practice and was a late scratch from that night’s lineup. He sat out Saturday as well but is now set to bat fifth and play left field in Sunday’s finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Red Sox could use all the offense they can get against Diamondbacks right-hander Merrill Kelly, who is 3-0 with a 3.63 ERA this season. Boston will load up with left-handed hitters in response, including four straight to lead off with Jarren Duran, Wilyer Abreu, Triston Casas and Rafael Devers batting 1-4.

Tanner Houck (8-8, 3.01) will get the start for the Red Sox. Houck has settled down after hitting a rough patch following the All-Star break and has posted a 2.41 ERA over 18.2 innings in his last three starts.
