Belgium July 2024: Peugeot (+35.5%), Mini (+82.4%) highlight stable market
Mini sales are up 82.4% year-on-year in July.
The June 2024 post has been updated with a H1 2024 Top 20 models and Top 5 models by region, fuel type and sales channel.
The Belgian new car market falls -1.6% year-on-year in July to 32,151 units, bringing the year-to-date tally down -1.2% to 295,559. BMW (+4.4%) reclaims the top spot it holds year-to-date off Volkswagen (-0.8%) with Audi (-1.5%) matching the market at #3. Mercedes (+2.9%) ensures the Top 4 brands are identical to YTD and FY2023. Peugeot (+35.5%) shoots up 8 spots on June to #4 with 6.4% share vs. 4.3% year-to-date while Mini (+82.4%) surges 13 ranks to #13 and 2.9% share vs. 1% so far in 2024.
