A narrative puzzle adventure will release in 2026 for Nintendo Switch Star, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game is being developed by Thekla, Inc and published by Arc Games. It features more than 1000 hand crafted puzzles and promises to provide hundreds of interconnected gameplay experiences.

The project has been in development for nearly 10 years now by more than 20 people. Thekla is the development company of the adventure puzzle game. The company has built a custom engine using its in-house Jai programming language. The game was officially launched during the 2025 Game Awards. The announcement instantly created excitement among its fans and gamers.

What is Order of the Sinking Star Game About?

The adventurous puzzle game invites players into a mysterious realm of magic, monsters, and contraptions. Gamers can explore four distinct worlds, each with unique mechanics, characters, and stories. The story combines surprising twists, puzzle systems, and fresh challenges to hook its players.

Players can experience a completely new experience with the control of a cast of heroes, including a queen, thief Tif, wizards, warriors, talking boats, bards, and a priestess. The puzzle begins on a grid-like plane before progressing into 3D scenarios.

The adventurous puzzle game, Order of the Sinking Star, is scheduled to release in 2026 across different platforms. However, the exact release date is yet to be announced.
