Netflix has announced the Release Date for Steps, a Cinderella Spin-Off

Plot/Synopsis of Steps

The evil stepsister, Lilith, stole the Fairy Godmother’s magic wand and makes her way to the Royal Ball along with her sister, Margot. She takes over the ball for herself and her sister. This becomes a nightmare when Margot is magically transformed by mistake, and the kingdom is taken over by the wicked scheming Priscilla.

Now, Lilith must join hands with Cinderella to fight biker trolls, find her way out of the Screaming Woods, outpace henchmen, and restore order. More than just saving the kingdom, it’s a journey to fix their broken sisterly bond and show villains can also live happily ever afters!

The narrative, which is hilarious, action-packed, musical, and emotionally driven, addresses topics such as belonging, acceptance, and that one good deed can make a world of difference. Director Alyce Tzue has added her own personal elements, based on her own experiences as an outsider.
