In short, the story says, “a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge.” It questions, “When the world is blinded by spectacle, what extremes do you have to go to make your story matter?” You can expect a raw narrative that blends family, legacy, revenge, and obsession. The key plot includes:

A veteran edgerunner who lives without cyberware and is in search of his purpose in life.

A deadly netrunner or nomad pursuing corpo secrets.

Yes, the trailer for Season 2 of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 is out. Its first look came out on 2 July 2026. IGN has released the video through its official YouTube Channel. Within a day of release, the video has more than 2 lakh views and more than 10k likes. 

The featured video is one and a half minutes. It shows the new characters joining the show. Different characters with unique powers show the popularity and the upcoming drama and tension in Night City. The teaser delivers a hyper-violent scene featuring rapid shootouts, cyberware glitches, explosions, and a camcorder that gives a retro 90s anime feel.
