Gas leak shuts down road near MGH, snarls traffic

Boston Police shut down a road near Mass General Hospital due to a gas leak Tuesday morning.

As of 9:21 a.m., North Grove Street by Cambridge Street was closed to traffic, according to BPD.

The closure impacts traffic going into the main entrance and emergency room of the hospital.

“Boston Police Officers are on scene assisting with traffic, we urge people to please seek an alternative route,” the department said in a statement.
