PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida, EE.UU. (AP) — El infielder suplente de los Mets de Nueva York, Grae Kessinger, se perderá de entre 8 a 12 semanas debido a una lesión en el isquiotibial izquierdo.
El manager venezolano del equipo, Carlos Mendoza, comentó el domingo en los entrenamientos de primavera que la cirugía es una posibilidad para Kessinger, quien salió de la victoria del viernes sobre San Luis después de batear un rodado para un out forzado en la octava entrada, según informó MLB.con
Los Mets firmaron el mes pasado a Kessinger, de 28 años, con un contrato de ligas menores. La última vez que jugó en las Grandes Ligas fue en 2024, cuando se fue de 21-0 en 23 juegos con los Astros de Houston.
