Clarification
An Aug. 13, 2025, opinion piece written by Howie Carr in the Herald used the word “felon” in referencing former State Police officer Joel Rogers. Rogers has since “satisfied his obligations” contained within a Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA), and the federal indictment against him has been dismissed, records state. That DPA remains sealed.
