LONDRES (AP) — El jefe de gabinete del primer ministro británico, Keir Starmer, renunció el domingo debido al escándalo en torno al nombramiento de Peter Mandelson como embajador del Reino Unido en Estados Unidos, a pesar de sus vínculos con Jeffrey Epstein.
Morgan McSweeney expresó que la decisión de nombrar a Mandelson como embajador en Estados Unidos en 2024 fue “equivocada” y asumió “toda la responsabilidad” por haber aconsejado a Starmer.
