MOSCÚ (AP) — Un subdirector de la inteligencia militar rusa fue herido de bala el viernes en Moscú, reportaron las autoridades.
El teniente general Vladimir Alekseyev recibió varios disparos de un pistolero no identificado, explicó la portavoz del Comité de Investigación, Svetlana Petrenko, en un comunicado.
Alekseyev fue hospitalizado, agregó la vocera.
Petrenko no especuló con quién podría estar detrás del ataque a Alekseyev, quien ha fungido como primer subdirector de la inteligencia militar de Rusia desde 2011.
Varios altos cargos militares rusos han sido asesinados en atentados que Moscú atribuyó a Ucrania.
El ataque ocurrió un día después de que negociadores rusos, ucranianos y estadounidenses concluyeran dos días de conversaciones en Abu Dabi. La delegación del Kremlin estaba encabezada por el jefe de la inteligencia militar, el almirante Igor Kostyukov.
