Patriots get great news on first injury report of Super Bowl LX week
SANTA CLARA — Patriots quarterback Drake Maye upgraded his participation in practice this week.
Maye was a full participant on Wednesday, the first practice of the week. Maye didn’t practice last Friday due to an illness and right shoulder injury. The Patriots starting QB clearly should be good to go for Super Bowl LX on Sunday.
Elsewhere, linebacker Robert Spillane (ankle) was a non-participant on Wednesday.

Here’s the full injury report:
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
LB Robert Spillane – Ankle
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
LB Harold Landry III – Knee
OT Thayer Munford Jr. – Knee
FULL PARTICIPATION
DT Joshua Farmer – Hamstring
QB Drake Maye – Right Shoulder
Spillane and Landry both have said they are trending towards playing in Super Bowl LX. Landry has been dealing with a nagging knee injury since Week 6, while Spillane injured his ankle in last Sunday’s AFC Championship Game win over the Broncos.
Spillane was spotted testing the ankle out on the sideline but couldn’t return to the game.
Farmer remains on injured reserve. It feels unlikely that he’ll be activated by Sunday, barring another injury at defensive tackle.
