Toyota retira 162.000 camionetas por pantallas defectuosas
NUEVA YORK (AP) — Toyota anunció que retirará del mercado alrededor de 162.000 camionetas en Estados Unidos tras descubrirse que las pantallas multimedia podrían comprometer la seguridad del conductor.
El retiro afecta a los modelos Tundra y Tundra Hybrid de los años 2024-2025 de la compañía. Según un comunicado de Toyota, los clientes afectados están siendo notificados.
El fabricante de automóviles japonés advierte que las pantallas pueden “quedarse atascadas en una vista de cámara” o volverse completamente oscuras bajo ciertas circunstancias, creando situaciones en las que los conductores no pueden ver la imagen de la cámara de reversa al retroceder.
