Incendio en hotel deja tres muertos y ocho heridos en Pakistán
LAHORE, Pakistán (AP) — Un incendio en el sótano de un hotel en la ciudad oriental de Lahore, en Pakistán, mató al menos a tres personas e hirió a otras ocho el sábado, informaron las autoridades de rescate.
Unos 180 huéspedes y empleados fueron evacuados cuando el incendio se desató en el Hotel Indigo, informó el Servicio de Emergencias de Punjab en un comunicado. La operación de búsqueda y rescate ha sido completada y el incendio extinguido, añadió.
Los bomberos están investigando si una fuga de gas fue la causa.
La ministra Principal de Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, escribió en X que está monitoreando personalmente la situación tras el incidente en el barrio de Gulberg de la ciudad.
