Mets adquieren al jardinero Luis Robert Jr. en canje con Medias Blancas

CHICAGO (AP) — Los Mets de Nueva York adquirieron el martes a Luis Robert Jr. en un canje con los Medias Blancas de Chicago para cubrir un vacío en el jardín central.
Nueva York envió al infielder venezolano Luisangel Acuña y al lanzador de ligas menores Truman Pauley con destino a Chicago a cambio de Robert, quien ha lidiado con lesiones e inconsistencia desde una destacada campaña en 2023.
Los Mets habían estado buscando ayuda en los jardines desde que intercambiaron a Brandon Nimmo a los Rangers de Texas por el segunda base Marcus Semien.
Estuvieron interesados en Kyle Tucker antes de que firmara con los Dodgers de Los Ángeles.
