Infielder Andy Ibáñez llega a acuerdo de un año y 1,2 millones con los Dodgers
LOS ÁNGELES (AP) — El versátil jugador de cuadro Andy Ibáñez formalizó un acuerdo por un año y 1,2 millones de dólares con los Dodgers de Los Ángeles.
El cubano de 32 años bateó para .239 con cuatro jonrones y 21 carreras impulsadas en 91 juegos para Detroit la temporada pasada, pero se convirtió en agente libre en noviembre cuando los Tigres no le ofrecieron un contrato para 2026.
En tres temporadas con Detroit, Ibáñez jugó en seis posiciones defensivas y bateó para .251 con 20 jonrones y 94 carreras impulsadas en 304 juegos.
Comenzó su carrera en las Grandes Ligas con los Rangers de Texas en 2021 después de firmar en 2015. Tiene un promedio de .254 con 28 jonrones y 128 carreras impulsadas en 420 juegos a lo largo de su trayectoria.
Para hacer espacio en el roster de 40 jugadores, los Dodgers dieron de baja al jugador de cuadro/jardinero Tyler Fitzgerald.
