Yee-Haw! Professional Bull Riders takes over Boston’s TD Garden (Photos)

Country world rocked the TD Garden this weekend, with the best bull riders taking to the floor on top of the craziest bulls in the world in front of 10,000-plus fans.

The Professional Bull Riders made its debut at the Garden on Friday and Saturday – and the hoopla around the unprecedented event caused both nights to sell out.

The Garden, the usual host of Celtics basketball games and Bruins hockey games in the winter, transformed into an arena full of dirt and bucking chutes.

“At the core are the best bull riders in the world, bar none, against the best bucking bulls on the planet. That’s our promise to every fan,” PBR Commissioner and CEO Sean Gleason told the Herald. “They’re going to get to see the best in the world, not just some crazy guys getting on bulls.”

Rounding out the electric two-day showcase, Brady Fielder claimed a tour-high 91.20 points Saturday night, marking the Australian’s first win of the season.

Fans in Boston watched the individual competition part of the tour, which runs from December through May. The season finishes in mid-May for the World Finals. The champion bull rider earns a gold buckle and a $1 million bonus.

“This atmosphere just pumps us up,” Fielder said of the raucous capacity crowd on the Paramount+ telecast following the win. “Now we head toward New York City. I’m going to take it step by step, take care of what’s in front of me.”
