Mattapan triple shooting suspect arrested, charged with murder

A Dorchester man will face murder charges following the shooting death of a teen earlier this year.

Boston Police arrested Dkhari Wornum-Brown, 22, and charged him with murder and carrying a firearm without a license Tuesday in Roxbury.

Wornum-Brown allegedly shot three people in the area around Hiawatha Road in Mattapan on Oct. 11. Two male victims sustained non-life threatening injuries, but a third victim, identified as 18-year-old G’Kiyah Lewis of Malden, succumbed to her injuries almost a month later, on Nov. 7.

Boston Police SWAT Team, along with Homicide Detectives and the Fugitive Unit, arrested Wornum-Brown around 6 a.m. Tuesday at a Ruggles Street apartment in Roxbury.
