T adjusts schedule for holidays
T riders won’t need to catch a ride on Santa’s sleigh this Christmas — the agency will still run service, just on a holiday schedule.
On Christmas Eve, Wednesday, the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority will run a mostly regular schedule, with subway, bus, commuter rail, and RIDE (for people with disabilities) offering weekday service. There will be additional Silver Line service to and from the airport.
Most ferry services will run regularly, except the Hingham/Hull route which will have the last two ferries of the day canceled.
Ferry service will not run at all Thursday, Christmas Day. The subway and bus lines will run on a Sunday schedule, while the commuter rail will follow the weekend schedule.
Service returns to normal on Friday.
