High school roundup/scores: Freshman powers Quincy to easy basketball win
Freshman Gabby Davis poured in 28 points and senior Taylor Mann added 12 points, fueling Quincy (2-1) in a 62-32 nonleague girls basketball win over Framingham.
In a nonleague clash in Lowell, Tyngsboro jumped out to a 25-6 lead and cruised to a 57-37 win over Lowell Catholic. Alanna Anderson paced the Tigers with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Alexis Deschenes added 12 points.

Freshman Cadence Dionne posted 28 saves for Norwell/Scituate/Abington, shutting out Div. 2 title contender Duxbury as part of a 1-0 overtime win in Patriot League play.
Balance bolstered Pope Francis (4-0) in a 5-0 nonleague win over South County (R.I.), as Nolan Craven and Keighley Gworek each tallied a goal and assist as two of five different players to score. Sophia Larsen dished two assists and Bella Bramucci scored her first varsity goal.
