High school roundup/scores: Addison Nee nets MVP honors for Pembroke
Addison Nee netted a hat trick for Pembroke, leading it to the Judy Gormley Cup championship, with a 6-2 girls hockey win over Dennis-Yarmouth. Nee won tournament MVP honors with five goals in two games.
Nolan Craven (goal, assist) and Elise Musa (goal, assist) each scored on third-period power plays, pairing with Addie Murray’s first varsity goal and Avery Savage’s 20-save shutout to pace Pope Francis (2-0) past Weymouth, 3-0.
Boys hockey
James Warren scored twice and Cody Silver dished two assists to help lead Mansfield over Silver Lake, 6-3, in nonleague action.
Girls basketball
Keyona Raines did a little bit of everything for Cathedral, posting 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and five steals to anchor a 56-17 nonleague win over Jackson Reed (D.C.).
