ABU DABI, Emiratos Árabes Unidos (AP) — Max Verstappen se quedó con la pole para el decisivo Gran Premio de Abu Dabi. Quedó por delante de sus rivales por el título de Fórmula 1, Lando Norris y Oscar Piastri, en la clasificación del sábado.
La emocionante batalla a tres bandas se decidirá el domingo en el Circuito Yas Marina. El piloto de McLaren, Lando Norris, está 12 puntos por delante de Verstappen de Red Bull y 16 de su compañero de equipo de McLaren, Piastri.
Verstappen aspira a su quinto título consecutivo de F1, mientras que Norris y Piastri persiguen su primer título. Los tres pilotos han ganado siete carreras.
Salir desde la primera posición de la parrilla es crucial en Abu Dabi, ya que todos los pilotos han ganado desde la pole desde 2015.
