MILÁN (AP) — El Grupo Prada anunció el martes que ha comprado oficialmente a su rival de moda en Milán, Versace, en un acuerdo de 1.250 millones de euros (casi 1.400 millones de dólares) que coloca a la casa de moda conocida por sus siluetas sensuales bajo el mismo techo que la estética del “chic feo” de Prada y el atractivo juvenil de Miu Miu.
Se espera que el anticipado acuerdo relance la fortuna de Versace, después de un rendimiento mediocre tras la pandemia como parte del grupo de lujo estadounidense Capri Holdings.
