STOCKTON, California, EE.UU. (AP) — Cuatro personas murieron y diez resultaron heridas en un tiroteo durante una reunión familiar en un salón de banquetes en Stockton, informó el sábado la policía del condado.
Heather Brent, portavoz de la policía del condado San Joaquín, dijo que las víctimas incluían tanto a niños como a adultos. Los primeros indicios “sugieren que este pudo haber sido un incidente dirigido”, indicó Brent durante una conferencia de prensa en el lugar.
El tiroteo ocurrió dentro del salón de banquetes, que comparte un estacionamiento con otros negocios.
Los detectives aún estaban trabajando para identificar un posible motivo.
Las autoridades no proporcionaron de inmediato información adicional sobre el estado de las víctimas. Los funcionarios dijeron anteriormente que varios fueron llevados a hospitales.
