Caen pedidos de beneficios por desempleo en EEUU, se mantienen en rango saludable

Las nuevas solicitudes de subsidio por desempleo en Estados Unidos cayeron la semana pasada, manteniéndose dentro del rango saludable de los últimos años, según los primeros datos semanales de despidos del gobierno desde antes del cierre gubernamental.
El Departamento de Trabajo informó el jueves que el número de estadounidenses que solicitaron beneficios por desempleo para la semana que terminó el 15 de noviembre disminuyó en 8.000, situándose en 220.000.
Los datos de las semanas que abarcan el cierre del gobierno también se mantuvieron en el mismo rango, entre 200.000 y 250.000.
El promedio de solicitudes de cuatro semanas, que suaviza parte de la volatilidad de semana a semana, cayó en 3.000, situándose en 224.250.
El número total de estadounidenses que solicitaron beneficios por desempleo para la semana que terminó el 8 de noviembre aumentó a 1,97 millones, un incremento de 28.000 respecto a la semana anterior.
