Last night in high school sports: Goblirsch twins star for Farmington girls hockey

Your daily look at what happened across the East Metro high school sports scene last night.

There was a full slate of girls hockey on Tuesday night. Here are some of the key results:

Farmington 7, Shakopee 1: Jenna Goblirsch scored four goals while her twin sister Amelia Goblirsch added two goals to lead the Tigers to a convincing win.

Eagan 4, Lakeville South 2: Isabella Hafertepe, Erica Lorence, Brita Anderson, and Kaitlyn Barry all scored to lead the Wildcats to a comeback win.

East Ridge 4, Roseville/Mahtomedi 1: Kami Szybatka, Lillian Pohl, Makenna Kuchenmeister, and Maci Szybatka scored for the Raptors. That was enough for Reagan Tracy between the pipes.

Stillwater 6, White Bear Lake 0: Savanna Cheney led a balanced attack for the Ponies in a dominant victory from start to finish.

Apple Valley 3, Rosemount 0: Eleanor Carlson posted a shutout for the Eagles, while Brinley Gretz, Taylor Gretz, and Makayla Gore provided the offense.

Cretin-Derham Hall will play Woodbury in the only girls hockey matchup on Wednesday night. There will be a bunch of action for girls hockey, boys hockey and girls basketball coming up on Thursday night.
