DUBLÍN (AP) — La estrella de Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo, fue expulsado por dar un codazo al defensor de Irlanda, Dara O’Shea, en la segunda mitad de su partido de clasificación para la Copa del Mundo el jueves.
Ronaldo se arriesga a una suspensión de dos partidos, lo que lo dejaría fuera del primer partido del torneo de la Copa del Mundo, si Portugal se clasifica.
